Celebrate a month of Gratitude with a Gratitude Tree and a Thanksgiving Countdown Chain! These gratitude activities are perfect for supporting Social Emotional Learning during the month of November.

Participate in a #GratitudeChainChallenge

Option 1: Build the Thanksgiving Countdown Chain and read a prompt each day. Students will practice gratitude and be able to SEE how many days are left before Thanksgiving Break.

Option 2: Students write one thing they are thankful for each day and add their link to the chain. See if your class's chain can stretch across the entire room before the end of the month!

Each day a student's name was drawn and they got to pick a prompt (we didn't use them as chains) and then we would write what we were thankful for on one of the leaves until we had a full tree.
